Sniper Elite V2

Wii U Console Port

During my time at Rebellion I worked on the Wii port of Sniper Elite V2, a third-person tactical stealth shooter which had already released on other platforms. The majority of the game's UI needs were already covered by the primary feature I worked on were feature's for the Wii U's secondary touch screen. I created new Map UI which required drawing new versions in a hand drawn paper style with gameplay position iconography. I also created touch interactive loadout weapon and projectile selection UI that positioned next to the map on either side. I anchored these elements on either side of the screen to prioritise a more ergonomic and usable position on either side , due to the larger size of the handheld device and the player's primary focus being needed on the main screen, the centre of the touch screen was less desirable and viable for touch interaction, especially when the loadout swap interaction requires quick and easy access for fast response to gameplay needs.
